RULES OF ADOPTION

1. First one to draw a picture of the desired design and alerts me to it wins that design.
DESIGNS WILL NOT BE PUT ON HOLD unless requested from a well respected DA friendy-friend person.

2. Drawing MUST be your own. You CANNOT simply recolor a template (unless that template in fact belongs to you).

3. Though the drawing does not have to be in color, markings should be indicated somehow. The design should be moderately recognizable.

4. Designs are TO REMAIN GSD's. I know a lot of you guys are more about wolves, but too bad. Think of this as a chance to broaden your drawing horizons. So do not change the species or breed.

5. Gender, name, and personality/backstory are completely up to you.

6. TRY TO AVOID GINGA STYLE PLEASE. I know a lot of you guys love Ginga and, trust me, I do enjoy the cartoons as well. But seriously, you're artists. You should be able to draw in your own way with your own style at least once and a while. So I do not want to see these guys turned into Jerome/John knock offs. Ginga was only slightly more accurate at depicting German Shepherd anatomy than the majority of fad-artists here on DA so please, let's try to be a little more accurate this time. I'm not going to be particularly anal about it, especially if your already established style is Ginga-related. But I don't want anyone to make it a point to draw these characters as Ginga fan dogs.

Also don't draw them as knock offs of my characters either. >.>
I'm finding more and more people like to rip off Sharp and similar characters so, seriously, don't do it. Sharp is the only hermaphroditic feral dog character that I have ever been aware of (whom isn't used in like... porn and stuff). If you suddenly decide to make one, forgive me for assuming you're copying a very important aspect of my comic and character designs... especially since truly hermaphroditic animals (meaning animals that are truly both genders at once) DON'T EXIST IN REAL LIFE.

7. By adopting one of my designs, you agree not to hoard them. You are agreeing to treat them as a character, to use and appreciate them as a character should be. If an extended period of time passes, and I see that said design has not been used or even referenced at all, I retain the right to put that design back up for adoption.

8. I felt like this went without saying but apparently people feel like they need to ask me before they try for a design. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ASK. Nor do you need to tell me which one you are going for. You are one of probably 50 to 100 people interested. Stop giving me unnecessary messages. I'll be honest, I don't care what you plan to do. If you post your image first, you'll get the design. If not, then you won't. No need to give me a play by play. :/
