Idk. I had a lot of artistic inspiration this afternoon and needed someplace to vent it. But my focus wasn't strong enough for me work on a commission or art trade. I needed something fresh...

A visit to =TheSilentSnow's page and some very brief chatter gave me something to focus on and the rest is history.

I DO NOT like this image at ALL. For some reason, I cannot seem to draw two hyenas in the same picture... One of them always ends up looking retarded. >< This time, unfortunately, it happens to be Seff-seff... he looks old... and fat... at the same time. I hate it... I wish I had gotten some reference for his face but I was in such a strong... mode, I guess, I didn't think about it. I had ref for Kagiso, whom I drew first, but I was on such a roll that I didn't want to stop to get ref for Sefu... My mistake. Sorry Seff. *pats his nose*

Bleh... Oh well. I commissioned Tahly for a pic of these two, and, knowing her glorious style, it will totally make up for my heaping helping of failure. -_-U

No biggy... It's not like I did this pic for any real reason. I was just inspired. That tends to happen when I wander through Tahly's gallery. She does great work, she really does.

ANYWAY I have to be up for class in... 4 hours. Let me go to bed. >.>

But before anybody really tries to pick this image apart: no I'm not sure what's going on here. I kind of imagine they were hunting or something, killed something, were having a night sunset dinner full of blood and guts, and then... I dunno, a lion or something comes along and steals their kill. Kagiso, being very dominant on an instinctual level, obviously gets ticked off. But Sefu seems to be more sensible than she is and is, I guess, trying to convince her to leave it alone. Lion vs Hyena never ends up being good for the smaller, lighter, less equipped hyena...

But that's just what I pulled out of my ass as I was finishing this up. I honestly have no idea what is really happening or what would in a situation like that... idk.
